Abstract: An office building in Karachi’s Industrial Zone Korangi. Based on the British colonial period architecture of Karachi, so that it is responsive to the maritime climate and utilizes local stone and building material. Within this typology the building provides space for a number of traditional building arts of the region, such as brass and copper metal work, lacquer painted ‘naqashi’ false ceilings, Sindhi glazed wall tiles, Sindhi ‘ajrak’ patterned floor tiles, etc.
